Alternative Materials Conversion

Metal

Metal is a long established material for products, but in many cases injection molded plastics parts can perform the task equally or better to the sheet metal counterpart and plastic parts can be made to incorporate several sheet metal parts with fasteners into one part. Injection molded plastic parts can also be recycled at the plant of origin. Damaged or scrapped items do not have to be trucked to some other facility to be reclaimed, reformed to raw stock and trucked back to begin the final forming process. Plastic is recyclable in-house.
